When I first watched Aladdin, when I was a child, I loved the movie. I never questioned any of the content just like many children. It is only now that I wonder what effect the movie played on my ideas towards people from the Middle East. As I watch the movie now I find so much content that should not be presented to children. This movie is loved by young boys and girls all over Canada and worldwide. I have a particular interest in how effects young girls.

Growing up in a small island community I did not have much racial diversity in my early years. It is only as a young adult that I am starting to understand different realities of different ethnicities. I was drawn to work on the females in the film because I grew up with two older brothers, because of this films played a large role in understanding how women should act.
